Because they are different products.
I definetly dont' consider FB and MSSQL the same product....

When bugs were found microsoft fixed them that's all.
Marco I don't have time to do this, I work 10 hours per day and I prefer
the others to stay with my family and my friends.

No but if no one tells me this I don't suspect.
MediaPlayer is a thing and a SQL Server is another one.

I run a file server, print server, database server with a P III with 512MB
of RAM.....
not a so expensive HW for little company needs.
Also I precide the preference is not only the $$$.

Marco doesn't exist only Delphi+IBO.... and with ADO you can optimize
queries as well....

I answered to you, and I told you that everything has his right solution...
so if his application runs smoothly
on FB why change it to MSSQL?

Office some times crashes... I use Microsoft Office since version 97 to
version XP.
I don't have too many problems and I mixed installation with various OS.....
I definetly don't like OpenOffice as it's not 100% compatible with office,
but these are personal preferences.
Also please don't mix opinion on microsoft's server sw with
other softwares... the upgrade aren't treated at the same manner.

I also think we live in an capitalistic world....
I work and I want to be payed for my work, but I also pay for the softwares
that make this possible.
