Helen,
Will (and when?) Firebird support direct connecting to server using string
: IP:PATH
(e.g. 192.168.0.15:c:\firebird\database.fdb) without resolving IP address
throught back-DNS (IP->NAME->IP) ?
Mostly with static IP addresses this generates much troubles and drops
connection speed.
