hi I am looking for the most convenient way to link firebird with Delphi. I took a look at the various open source and other OLEDB and ODBC drivers. The ODBC driver at the IBPHONEIX website doesn't seem to be good. And the other open source OLDEB driver also don't seem to be good .I had already written the Code for SQL server and need to port the code for Firebird, that is the reason i was looking for OLEDB providers to keep my code as generic as possible . But it looks like IBX and IBO seem to be the only way to access it . Any one has come accross the situation where they want the code to access for more than one databases and how they did it. The reason behind this is that since this application is a product we want to support a wide range of databases. Ajay
