would it do you any good to mention the companies currently backing
firebird, ie. ibphoenix.com ? that way you show your boss it's more
than just "a few internet people" he has to rely on.

it's a shame when idiots like that come in with their self-serving
interests and/or uninformed opinions trying to stir a row so as to make
a quick buck.
