We are currently running the first open source release of Interbase -
version 6.0 with the initial security patch. Unfortunately we sell our
product to a number of clients, so upgrading to Firebird 1.0 is a bit
of a task, especially since it doesn't work with Interbase on the same
machine :-(

Anyway, we are currently having problems with our product on XP, and
I was wondering if that version of Interbase is known to work properly
(or not) on XP.
