i see no reasons to have a much of lost time, to update a lot of sourcecode,
because
the "date" doens't longer exist .... in dialect 3
escpecially the type DATE is the hammer!
i have in every record the timestamp, and a lot of logical is based on that
type of field ..
How i shoud update to dialect 3 ???? without changing 1000lines of
sourcecode?
If someone knows a good way, i will be happy ..
if FB2 or another Firebird-version doesn't support the dialect 1, i cannot
go with it:(
i think its impossible, and a lot of other developers have the same problem
....
thanks
