Hi,
I'm running v4.2 on Win2000, in the process of migrating to Firebird RC2.
One of my files when I try to gbak it, gives me the following error:
gbak: ERROR: internal gds software consistency check (can't continue after
bugcheck)
gbak: ERROR: gds_$receive failed
gbak: Exiting before completion due to errors
gbak: ERROR: internal gds software consistency check (can't continue after
bugcheck)
When I run a gfix -validate against the same database file, I get a checksum
error.
So, I thought, I would run a gfix -mend -ignore. Unfortunately, when I try
to do this, the ibserver process crashes every time.
I can connect to and query this file just fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might be able to gbak this
file?
Best Regards,
David Montgomery
