Hi all,
About my problem on restoring a gbk backup on FB/Rc2:
The story:
I had a gbk created from a gdb database, the gdb work fine
and the validation of the gdb show no problem, the gbk
wont restored showing a problem.
Many people say about constrain error on some colums, so
the gbk will not restored, so i do this:
I build a new gdb with this command:
gbak -B -m -t -user SYSDBA -pass masterkey %1.gdb %1.meta
gbak -R -user SYSDBA -pass masterkey -c -p 2048 %1.meta %1_new.gdb
then I copy all record from the original gdb to the new, I get no
constrain error message, the new gdb contains all record copied
from the old gdb, the new gdb work fine on backup/restore.
So the problem is not in come constrains, but I think in the
gdb. The old gdb was made on FB/Rc1.
What goes wrong? There is some corruption on old gdb?
Thanks. I apologize for my bad english.
