No I have not tried to use a VPN (by the way I do not even know what the VPN
is? shame on me), nor do not know how to set up the server as a dial-up ISP
server... I plan to use windows 2000 as server's OS.

Have you tried using a Virtual Private Network(VPN)? Or use the server as
a dial-up ISP server?
Which operating system are you using?
