I was recently using Interbase 6 open source certified edition and
ran into a problem maxing out the number of users (2 it seems). This
would not to do for the ASP project I'm working on. So, I deleted
this version and attempted to install the most recent version of
Firebird (v1 RC2 self-extracting).
However, after I was informed the install was successful, I could not
determine how to start the service and view the tables. I'm familiar
with the IBConsole and Interbase Service Manager from my previous
expericence with Interbase v6 open source.
Am I missing something here. Did the install not work properly or is
there someother type of user interface that Firebird uses?
Please help me. I'm in sort of a time crunch (as usual).
Thanks, Brian Beaudet
