The whole issue of DB security (as a general issue) has already been
noted as a Firebird Feature Request.

The general issue is intended to encompass all related topics such as;
on-disk encryption, over-the-wire encryption, user authentication,
rights management...

Accordingly, I think that for the moment the subject is adequately noted
for a future release.
