I need to perform a database validation FROM my own software.

Can somebody tell me if it's possible to run the DATABASE validation routine that's available in IB CONSOLE (Interbase 6 - I am currently using Borland's open source version, but I can switch to any other one, if needed)?

Does IB Objects for example provide such a function?

Any help and any related information will be very highly appreciated.
