Hi,
Greetings. Is snapshot isolation level the best way to handle lost update problem, for which the update is committed through search update like:
update table1 set value1 = somevalue where key1 = somekey
Can read committed combat this problem? ( because I have read from some SQL books saying that read committed could somehow prevent lost update)
Thanks in advance.
Best wishes,
jr
