I have seen old versions of SPs run after making mods and compiling
successfully.
This is using Delphi and IB Expert.
What I've done is:
1. Whatever tool you're using to modifiy the SP, disconnect from the
database.
2. If the old version of the SP was running from w/in Delphi, make sure the
database component is not connected to the gdb.
This usually does it for me.
Never had a trigger never fire and never had the "Object in use" error (he
says knocking on wood).
