Ok, I assume you have seen the bit previously about redhat6.2 it wasn't
checking for the older /etc/rc.d/init.d and I used /etc/init.d in one
spot. I've changed that now, and waiting for some feedback.

I can also change the install to check for chkconfig before running it,

And is there an equivalent of chkconfig for debian, or set of commands?

If you can mail them to me, I could wrap another .tar.gz package up for
you to test (I assume it was th e.tar.gz package you used).
