I don't use IBO but I think I can speak for it's reliability anyway. I read
a lot of newsgroups everyday and see a lot of good comments regarding Jason
and the IBO components. I am sure that every now and then someone will have
a problem with anything, so don't take it as an automatic reflection of
IBO's failings in general because a lot of factors can effect how a persons
program reacts to component updates. Take for example Jeff Overcash's IBX
components. He has warned for over six months about using certain methods
which were going to be hidden in future versions and guess what? He did and
still we see posts regarding this issue because people wouldn't heed the
warning and now they have to change their code. Is that Jeff's fault? Not in
my opinion. IBO is surely a very stable component suite from what I have
heard so I take that comment with a grain of salt.
