This change will have NO impact on the engine stability, it only affects
the database open operations.

As for the restarting issue...

Let's all wait for the change to be committed and a build released. I
will then do some testing (you're each free to do some also) and will
report back. (I don't think that the Jbuilder problem will necessarily
apply in this case, but we will test)
