Phil,
Thanks for your answer. It doesn't matter how I start up. I was
running the KDE , it hanged, then the next time I started up, I didn't go
further than the log in screen, so the KDE didn't start, the same after 15
minutes again. I couldn't kill the X-process, the whole thing really
hanged. How could I check the logs ? (I'm new to Linux).
