Hi,
I have FireBird installed on a Suse Linux machine. I did the network configuration. I can do a ping from a Win98 client, everything is ok. Also when I work with isql on the linux machine, no problem. But I have a problem to connect with IB_WISQL. I think the path I use must be incorrect. I have in the Win98 client hosts file as IP address 10.94.50.11 and as host name : linux-Trislot.
In IB_WISQL, I use this line to connect : linux-trislot://opt/interbase/isc4.gdb. I get the error message "Error redaing data drom the connection". What did I do wrong ?
Many thanks in advance,
Nico Callewaert
