Oh, I do hope you had a recent backup. I should have suggested
trying the command on a test database. Humble and grovelling
apologies. I did try it and it didn't corrupt my database...
No great comfort there.

If the database isn't enormous, could you send me a zipped copy
of the good backup. I'd really like to know what happened.
