I have a workstation running Win 2000 on a production floor. The
workstation is unattended and read scale weights and dumps them into the
database. During the day everything is fine, but at night (or weekends)
when no transactions are going through, some the connectioj to the IB
server drops. I then just have to reconnect and we are fine again. This is
a bit undesirable as this workstation should run unattended.
We cleared the power saving settings to no power saving, but it still
doesn't fix the prob. I can fix this in software, but it would be the
_right_ solution.
Can anybody shed some light on this?
Thanks
