Hi Sandeep,
Assuming that
the server name is: linserver
the name of database is: dbfile.gdb
the directory where dbfile.gdb is located: /user/data

the connect string is: linserver:/user/data/dbfile.gdb

Be aware of the fact that all the names in Linux are case sensitive !
