It is applicable to to FB v6 as well (and probably IB).
You can put all you gbak commands in a command file that you can call
from the command line.

find the reference in Firebird's bug track, either, so perhaps
someone could re-post... I've got ib6/FB off my system at the moment
to do 5.6 work, so can't test whether a connect call in the .bat
file, preceding the gbak call, makes things work OK in 6/FB.
