I am evaluating IB as an option for a real time system that will be
inserting approx 200 records/sec into multiple tables. I plan to use
ADO / Easysoft ODBC driver, as the prototype system built in SQL
Server uses the same, so it should be a simple matter of changing the
provider. (heh!)
The reason for the move is to an embedded , low ( nil preferred )
administered db solution, that must be scalable to UNIX.
Is there a set of performance benchmarks that would be relevant for
this application, I have been considering IB / MySQL / PostGreSQL /
dbISAM, not sure about others.
Any feedback appreciated
