Thanks for your reply Helen. I do have the documentation for
Interbase. What happens is that the user does have all the privileges, but
my colleague found out that if he revoked them and then granted them again
everything works fine. I'll look into this a bit deeper, because this
happens after he runs a program that I've written to update the database
structure, maybe I'm doing the grants in the wrong order.
