We have just moved to Firebird 0.94 from IB 5.6 and experience a 40MB/day
leak on our Win2K server. To release the memory I have to restart the IB
server process. I have tested the suspected UDF for causing the leak but
came up negative. Most of or apps use IBObject, and some uses IBX. Any
suggestion?
Maybe unrelated, but GSTATS had trouble reading one of the 2.5GB database
with about 5 millions records. It logged "error reading database pages..."
in the log file. I have tried back up and restored the database, but the
restored version exhibit the same problem.
Thanks,
Jung
