I wouldn't hold your breath.

but tended to work with just about any application. XP,
being such a wonderful hybrid,
appears that it can't play games to save its life and it
can't run applications to save its
life either.

I had a meeting yesterday at a customer who used to insist
on Windows. They are now asking what would be involved in
running Linux on those machines that don't need word
processing ( the bulk of them <g> ) with a view to changing
next year. They don't fancy changing hundreds of machines
because they won't run W2k let alone XP - there is nothing
wrong
with the hardware - we get 10 years out of it.

If Microsoft aren't listening they WILL be soon.
