Lester,
Lately, we have been making network changes, which results in network
connections being dropped/disconnected and then moved to a different
network switch. In every case, the MS networks functions (including MS
Outlook connections to Exchange Server 2000) have been able to
resume/continue without *any* problem. We run an exclusively Win 2000
network, connecting to various Win2000 servers.
Accordingly, this does not 'jive' with your description of the problem.
Perhaps, you were referring to the fact that IB/FB access is lost -- not
re-connected/re-established.

There is nothing wrong with Interbase,
that can't be fixed with Firebird.
