Unfortunately Firebird isn't an option for this version of the
project. I believe the next version will use it.

Unfortunately all databases that exhibit the problems are several
gigabytes in size. Unless you have a particularly forgiving e-mail server, I
doubt that you'll want a copy :).

As I noted to Claudio, the problem appears to have gone away when I
removed the FK's from the tables. Given that the data *was* intact, I'd have
to guess that somehow the indices were corrupted.

I'll keep you and the rest of the list informed if I find out any
more details, or can replicate this problem on Firebird.

Can you try either Firebird or InterBase 6? Both are free and both
are superior to 5.6? I'd like to know if the problem was fixed sometime
during the development of InterBase 6. If you have a copy of the database
in its corrupt state and it isn't too big, could you send it to me?
