Hi all,
I am new to this forum as well as Interbase. I have set up a Local Server on my pc, and I'm trying to set up a Remote Server on another pc
that is connected to the same LAN. When I configure the remote server, I keyed in my pc name as the Server Name, TCP/IP as the Network
Protocol and the Alias to be the same as my Local Server. When I try to connect that remote server to mine, I got this message :

"Unable to complete network request to host 'hostname-pc'
Failed to locate host machine.
The specified name was not found in the hosts file or Domain Name Services"

Can someone offer me some help on this? Thanks.
