I think she was suggesting that *you* review the code, assuming that
anything structured like you describe can be amended for the better one
way or the other. :-)

While I am at it, I was wondering if it would be possible to pass
connection and transaction handles to a UDF, opening up whole new
worlds, and if this is something recommendable anyway. Perhaps this is
not the right list to ask...
