This happened while I was testing a software that I was writing to transfer
data from Paradox to Interbase(86 tables). So, as you can imagine, there
will be quite some Inserting and updating involved. When the program
encountered errors, the hard drive was working a lot and with no sign of
slowing down even after 5-10 minutes. When I tried to run the program
again, it froze when trying to connect to the database. The only solution
that I found was to reboot the computer and try it again. This worked fine
and I have Forced Write On.

Have a nice day.
