Hello,
I just realized that my client software is using the "gds32.lib" from
a 5.0 installation of interbase. This client access either ib6, or
Firebird 9.x.
Does the server know the version of the lib the client is using? I
assume the server must be very backwards compatible to handle all the
unknown clients out there.
The question is, should I be worried, or move quickly to replace the
client with one which uses "gds32.lb" from a new build?
Thanks,
Kyle
