There was a post about this on the SA list and Michael Bayer responded
by opening a ticket:

Philippe have you used SA before?
I am using it but I don't have the know how to make the changes
necessary but will give it a try to at least help in testing it.
Besides what is mentioned in the above ticket if one wants to look at
other code implementing multiple dialect support then postgresql is I
think the one to look at.
If there are SA related questions then Michael B. is always very very
responsive on the SA ML.
