My problem is with Dabo+kinterbasdb>=3.2+FB2.0.x.

If you do not use Dabo, there is no need to try
kinterbasdb-3.2_20070503.src.tar.gz.

To get help, please report the exact error message and also which
version of FB you installed (original FB or the Ubuntu version).
The Ubuntu versions of FB are splitted up in a number of packages which
could cause your installation failure if you installed with "python
setup.py install".
