Hello Uwe,

Sorry! for my incomplete information.

I could not get install KI 3.x + FB 2.1 , the build and install command work fine but the installation fails in this command:

python -c "import kinterbasdb"

I use Ubuntu Linux 8.04 uptodate, when I Install FB 2.0 + FB 3.2 I dont have any problem.

uhm...I dont know about your post, I'll try tomorrow to install the KI version :

You said that you have the same problem as i have.
See:
http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=4288153

Now you say that you get an error on import.
I still don't know what OS you are using and which error message
you are getting.
Do you get the error on installing with "python setup.py install"?
Does the install succeed?

Can't help,
Uwe
