Subject Interbase XE7 (ODS 16)

Hello everyone,

I am having trouble connecting:

        Interbase XE7 (Developer - Came with Rad Studio XE8) (32 or 64)
        Windows 7 Ultimate (64)
        Apache 2.2
        PHP 5.3.8
        Database was ods 11 - converted to ods 16

        I get the error "Your user name and password are not defined. Ask your database administrator to set up an InterBase login" when I call ibase_connect() or ibase_service_attach()

I am open to changing any versions required.  

Has anyone found the magic formula?
