I have installed Firebird on Ubuntu 11.04. I can view tables via ISQL on the example database and I created a folder 'dbs' in the firebird folder (i.e. /opt/firebird/dbs/) using the command prompt. The problem I have is that I can't create and save databases on this folder as Firebird doesn't seem to have rights to this. I have tried to do this using both Flamerobin and ISQL without any success. PLEASE HELP.
