Thank you for your post.
I did what http://www.firebirdfaq.org/faq191/ tells to do and I now have interbase.so in /usr/lib/php/modules. The /etc/php.ini file has the line extension=interbase.so but PHP doesn't connect to Firebird.
How can I tell what else is missing in the configuration?
It is suposed to appear interbase/firebird in the display of phpinfo()?
