Try asking on the firebird-support list - while the target is PHP, the problem
is one of compiling any Firebird application on OSX. Actually it may even be
necessary to try the developers list.
It's a while since I did any real C work, but I suspect that we are looking at
the usual little compiler incompatibilities that other OSX people have
probably already found? - just not with PHP
