Sorry to entering here, but I'm also tampering with PHP and firebird.
A note on link that you reported, says to copy and paste fbembed.dll
library, not fbclient.dll library as I'm supposed to install.
In windows test environ. I do:
instclient i g
AFAIK this deploy C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\fbclient.dll; is this all right?
In Linux deploy environ I'm stopped by distro packaging: Ubuntu 7.10
Fb2.0 pack installs his own correct 2.0 client lib (ok), but php5 try to
install fb1.5 client lib.
I don't know what to do: sorry, but Linux is somewhat hard to learn for me.
