I know it can be done. But after investing about 4 hours in trying to get
the various versions of this combo compiling, I'm completely confused. Does
anyone have any experience in setting this combination up?
From what I can see, the problem appears to be due to an issue with
compiling PHP5 using ./configure --with-interbase=/opt/firebird
Although it does work, when I go to start Apache2, I get the following
error:
Cannot load /etc/httpd/modules/libphp5.so into server:
/etc/httpd/modules/libphp5.so: undefined symbol: sapi_module
I suspect I have the wrong switch set either in my Apache 2 build or my PHP5
build. I never had these problems with Apache 1 & PHP4, but I guess we must
all move forward to new versions (and new headaches). Anyway, if someone
has any ideas, I'd love to hear 'em.
Thanks
Myles
