Thanks for responding... I actually created the interbase.ini file too and restarted Apache. With regard to compile directive, I did compile PHP with the same directives (with interbase, with apxs2) except that I did not specify <path-to-apxs> location. Could that be the reason? I'll try to do another compile. Thanks.
