A "select 'Hi\Thomas' from rdb$database" executed by ibase_query and
fetched by ibase_fetch_assoc leads to 'HiThomas' - which is less than I
want :-). This is just a very small example, acutally I want to fetch
windows-pathes and other data with '\' in it.

Can anybody tell me, how to acomplish this in PHP?
