Hi Lester
I have Apache/PHP4 working and I have installed Firebird but have not
checked it as yet.
I am interested in getting the source of the InterBase Extension so I
can compile it and install it. This is so I can use OpenAspect via web
browsers. Open Aspect is a PHP Web Application which uses Firebird as a
database back-end.
I am a PHP developer so I know how PHP works. I am the administrator at
work so I know how to configure Apache and PHP. Mac OS X is built on
Darwin which is a fork of BSD. I am familiar with using the shell but I
have never built anything with a source file (since university over 10
years ago anyway). I have compiled stuff before. I am also a member of
a computer club and can understand most geek speak. I should be able to
find someone who can help me build the InterBase Extension on Mac OS X.
Looking forward to getting started. Where are the source files?
regards
Graeme Bryan
