Hi,

is the library shipped with the amd64 firebirdversion stable and does
it work with interbase 6 or 7.5 ?

I have a standalone database server (32 Bit) and want my php/apache
server (64bit) to connect to the interbase (or firebird) but I need
a 64 bit library (libgds / libfbclient.so) to compile php extension.

I tried to use the the libfbclient.so. Compiling works fine but I get
wrong integer values from DB on the 32 BIT Server.

Isn't it possible to connect from 64 bit to 32 bit Server? I can't
understand that, thats only a tcpip connection between the server,
can't it not convert ?
