Looked good - and then it asked for ODBC :)
I don't think I need ANOTHER interface into Firebird.
And now I've played with it - no paper formated output.

Very poor and will not actually produce reports, only grids on web page.

Linux Only - No Windows module. Looks like odbc again for Firebird.

How the **** do I run ANOTHER application environment on top of Apache/PHP?

This was looking favourite, but I'm not sure it's any easier than just
hooking up FastReport ;) And I've already paid for that.

Much the same again

Swing Table mode interface? Yet another 'standard' - No thanks ;)

Thanks for the pointers, a couple I had not seen before, but looking
further into these Java ones, they are just totally unusable with PHP as
far as I can see. I have the data, I don't need additional JAVA
interfaces to get at it.
I'll have to see if I can use a back end with ADOdb - that would address
most of my problems, and give me something I can view or print.
