Could you give me more info about this?
I' ve just tested:
php-4.3.2 + Apache 1.3.27 + FB 1.5 RC3 and it's ok
php-4.3.2 + Apache 2.0.46 + FB 1.5 RC3 and it's ok

Did you try to run php as stand alone + FB1.5 RC3 ?
Did you receive a segfault or it happened only with Apache?
