My 2 cents.
I met talks when people had to implement JCA and could not find a single example.
So it would be great if last JCA-supporting JayBird remained published forever and maybe even was advertized as production read JCA impl example

Given there was no feedback at all, Jaybird 4 will deprecate JCA support
and Jaybird 5 will remove JCA support entirely.
