Checking out the client-java project and importing it into an Eclipse
workspace should be enough (you will need to add a Hibernate-3.2-GA
library yourself to satisfy a dependency for one of the examples).

BTW: Could you point me to some examples for using the trace API to get
started with trying/testing this?
